Peppermint Harvest

🍃Peppermint 🍃

I ❤️ peppermint for multiple reasons. It smells good and it’s refreshing.

This therapeutic herb anyone can grow in the back yard, which I highly suggest!

It keeps mosquitoes away and is highly sought after because of its health enhancing properties.

Did you know.....,peppermint helps pain relief? Specifically when applied to the skin it relieves pain and reduce sensitivity. It also relieves headaches and migraines linked to digestive weakness.

If you have digestive issues peppermint will be one of your best friends as it has the therapeutic ability to relieve gas, flatulence, bloating, colic, increase the flow of disgestive juices and bile, relaxes the gut muscles, soothes irritated bowels, reduces nausea and cramps.

Soothes the lining and muscles of the colon, it helps diarrhea and relieves a spastic colon (often the cause of constipation).

Peppermint oil has many great perks.

One of which I use myself faithful to help with my long distances runs. I place peppermint oil on my shirt so when I jog I inhale its fumes. This helps with calming my lungs, increases my endurance and well it smells good.

Diluted peppermint oil is used as an inhalant and chest rub for respiratory infections.

This herb was highly value by the Greeks and Romans. I hope you see why we love to use this herb in some of herbal tea blends.

It’s a antispasmodic, stimulates sweating, antimicrobial, analgesic, carminative, and more.
